Maidstone and the Weald Conservative Association were thrilled to welcome Steve Baker MP, Minister of State at the Northern Ireland Office, during the week the Windsor Framework was announced. Steve was a wonderful guest, describing his journey into Parliament following a career in finance, computer software and with the RAF as an engineer officer. Many topics were discussed, including Steve's views on taxation, Europe and planning. A fantastic evening was had by all, complemented by fish and chips from a local restaurant. We are incredibly grateful to Steve for making the journey to Maidstone and his generosity with his time at the end of what must have been a very busy week!
